Andrae Crouch is the composer of some of the best known contemporary gospel songs of the 20th century. His music is addictive; once you listen to one of his tunes you usually cannot get it out of your head for the rest of the day! Many of his songs are truly epic, having a huge impact both through his colossal music and the song’s message. Examples: “My Tribute”, “We Are Not Ashamed”, “The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power”, and “Let The Church Say Amen”.

Andrae was a key figure in the “Jesus Music” movement of the 1960s and 1970s, and he helped bridge the gap between black and white Christian music. Andrae’s songs have been recorded by many popular recording artists, including Elvis Presley.

His songs include, to name a few:

1. My Tribute (To God be the glory)
2. The Blood Will Never Lose It’s Power (…he wrote this when he was 15 years old!)
3. Through It All
4. Jesus Is The Answer
5. Take Me Back
6. I Don’t Know Why Jesus Loves Me
7. Soon And Very Soon (we are going to see the king)
8. I’m Gonna Keep On Singing
9. I Didn’t Think It Could Be
10. It Won’t Be Long
11. Tell Them
12. I’ve Got Confidence
13. We Are Not Ashamed
14. If Heaven Never Was Promised To Me
15. Tell Them
16. Finally
17. Bless His Holy Name (Bless the Lord, Oh my soul)
18. Let the Church Say Amen
